Classes began on Tuesday, September 5 and we are so excited to have you back! We have put together some information below that we hope will help you on the first day and throughout the 2017-18 school year.
This year we have a new arrangement during drop-off in the morning:
- EC1 & EC2: EC1 Yard
- CK: Middle Roof
- C1-C3: Main Yard
- C4-C6: Community Center (beginning on Sept 12, students in grades 4-6 can also go to the library for quiet study time.)
Students who are dropped off between 7:30am - 8:05am will go to the Main Yard.
From 8:05am - 8:30am students will go to the following locations based on their grade:
HERE ARE A FEW ADDITIONAL THINGS WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO KNOW ABOUT CAMPUS:As part of our Campus Enhancement Plan a few changes were made to campus over the summer. Some of those changes include, a temporary, padded stairway, next to the existing stairway, on the main yard. This stairway will not be used during the fall and was put into place in preparation for 2018:
We also have a new handball wall!
As part of the ongoing construction on the building on La Cienega, there is scaffolding in front of and above the Community Center. There is a screen in front of the scaffolding (See image below) and, although it only has one opening, all three sets of doors to the Community Center are accessible and useable.
You can learn more about these changes by reading this brochure.
CAR INFORMATION: Also, in the August mailing, we requested that all families update their car information on file with us. If you haven't already, please review the data we have on file (see your personalized letter from the August mailing) and visit the web site to provide us with any updates, changes, or new data as needed. Thank you for your continued support and coorperation.
