Admissions Process
The Center’s entry grades are: Toddlers, EC 1 (first year of nursery school) and Kindergarten. Places open in First through Sixth Grades only through attrition of our current students. We usually do have some elementary school openings each year. We do not accept appliations for the EC 2 (second year of nursery school) program as there are typically no openings.

To apply for the 2014-15 school year please click here. The online application process is easy and quick, and you may pay your one-time application fee with a credit card.
If you are unable to apply online, call The Center at 323 651-0707 for an application packet. Please be aware this may delay your application process.
The application fee is $100. If you are applying for Financial Aid, the fee may be waived.
Attend an Admissions Open House
Open House information sessions and tours are your best way to see the CEE campus and learn about our programs. Open House begins with a presentation by the Director of Admissions and Head of School. Parent tour guides then take small groups of applicants to see the highlights of our campus including classrooms. Open Houses begin in September and run through January.
You must complete an application in order to attend an Admissions Open House. Once your application has been recevied you will be sent an invitation to an Open House.
Interviews
We do not meet children applying to the Toddler and Early Childhood programs. After attending an Open House and Tour, parents are invited to come for an interview. Interviews take place from October through mid-February.
Kindergarten applicants attend a Kindergarten screening in December or January. Kindergarten applicant parents are interviewed from late January through mid-March.
Elementary applicants (1st - 6th grade) spend one day in the class in January through mid-March. Parents are interviewed the day of the applicant visit.
