Extended Day

Morning Daycare

The Center offers daycare before school beginning at 7:30 am until children line up for class at 8:30 am.  There is no formal program, but the Main Play Yard is supervised by faculty.  Before school is a great time for children to play a game, make new friends, or read quietly.  Early Childhood morning daycare takes place in an EC classroom and yard. 

There is no fee for morning daycare.

Afterschool Daycare

Afterschool daycare begins at 3:30 pm and continues until 6:00 pm when it promptly closes.  Children may stay all or part of that time.  Afternoon daycare is separate from the After School Program of enrichment classes.  However children in enrichment classes may join daycare when their class is over. 

Afterschool daycare offers children time to play outdoors, do various indoor art activities, play board games, and celebrate holidays with crafts and simple parties.  Older children may start their homework in a supervised study hall in The Center Library.  The daycare staff of 4 supervise all activities and provide a snack at 4:30 pm.

Afterschool daycare is billed to parents monthly at a rate of $8.00 per hour up to a maximum of $340 per month.
