The Center for Early Education (“CEE”) maintains this website for the convenience, education and communication needs of the CEE school community, the broader educational community and the general public. These Terms and Conditions govern your access and use of this website, and you agree to comply with them when using this website. CEE may periodically update these Terms and Conditions and may do so without notifying you.
Use of Content
All materials and content displayed on this website are CEE’s property and you may use these materials and content for non-commercial purposes only. If you copy, download or republish any materials or content from this website, you must not delete, alter or omit any copyright or other proprietary notices. You must have CEE’s prior written permission to use any of the website’s content or materials for commercial purposes.
Accounts
You will need a password to use certain non-public areas of this website. We issue passwords to parents and grandparents of CEE students, alumni, current trustees, and faculty and staff members. You must keep your password confidential, and you must notify CEE if you learn of or suspect any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for all activities that occur through your account. You may not access or attempt to access any other user’s account without that user’s permission, and you must not misrepresent your identity while using this website. CEE may terminate your account and restrict your access to the password-protected areas of this website if we believe you have violated these Terms and Conditions.
Posting Content
Certain pages of this website permit alumni to post messages. By posting messages, you automatically grant CEE a perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy and publish these messages on this website. CEE will treat any communication or content that you transmit to this website via email, blog entry or any other means as non-confidential. You must not post any messages that contain content that you did not create or that infringes anyone’s copyright, privacy or publicity rights or any other rights. CEE reserves the right to routinely screen and monitor content that users post on this website. You acknowledge and agree that CEE may, but is not obligated to, remove any messages or other content it believes violates these Terms and Conditions, might be offensive, inappropriate or illegal, violates the rights of, or harms or threatens the safety of other users.
Copyright Infringement

Arbitration
Except as otherwise provided below, all disputes, controversies and claims related to these Terms and Conditions or CEE’s Website Privacy Policy shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration. Either you or CEE may initiate arbitration by sending a written notice to the other. The arbitration will be conducted in Los Angeles, California in accordance with the procedures set forth below and under the Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures of JAMS that are in effect at the time the arbitration is initiated (the “JAMS Rules”). BY AGREEING TO THIS ARBITRATION PROVISION, YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU AND CEE WAIVE THE RIGHT TO SUE IN COURT AND HAVE A JURY TRIAL. YOU AND CEE AGREE THAT (A) THERE IS NO RIGHT OR AUTHORITY FOR ANY DISPUTE TO BE ARBITRATED ON A CLASS ACTION BASIS OR TO UTILIZE CLASS ACTION PROCEDURES; (B) THERE IS NO RIGHT OR AUTHORITY FOR ANY DISPUTE TO BE BROUGHT IN A PURPORTED REPRESENTATIVE CAPACITY OR AS A PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL; AND (C) NO ARBITRATION SHALL BE JOINED WITH ANY OTHER ARBITRATION. The following claims are not subject to the above provisions concerning arbitration: (i) any claim seeking to enforce or protect, or concerning the validity of, any of CEE’s intellectual property rights; (ii) any claim related to, or arising from, allegations of theft, piracy, invasion of privacy or unauthorized use; and (iii) any claim for equitable relief. In addition to the foregoing, either party may assert an individual action in small claims court in lieu of arbitration.
Miscellaneous
These Terms and Conditions are the entire agreement between you and CEE governing your access and use of this website. CEE does not waive any rights under these Terms and Conditions by its failure or delay in taking any action.
