Dear CEE Alumni,
First off, allow me introduce myself. My name is Caitlin Dempsey and I'm the Director of Alumni and Constituent Relations here at The Center. I couldn't be more excited to join this community and the already impressive alumni program I have inherited.
Graduating from sixth grade is not the end of your time at The Center for Early Education. Rather, it is the beginning of the next chapter in your life at The Center. Being a part of the CEE alumni community is an equally important part of a Center experience. Keeping in touch with teachers and classmates, networking professionally and socially, as well as special events just for alumni are only a few of the benefits that come with maintaining a relationship with The Center for Early Education as an alumnus.
The CEE Alumni Council is responsible for keeping all aspects of the alumni program running smoothly. Council meetings take place approximately once per month and are held at 7 p.m. at The Center. Please let us know if you would like to join the Council and, in doing so, would like to plan events and activities for CEE alumni of all ages.
CEE Alumni activities and events vary from year to year but are always fun and rewarding. Whether it's creating care packages for college freshmen, helping a Center class make sandwiches for the hungry, or participating in our annual Alumni Poker Night, there are many exciting ways to stay connected and involved with The Center.
Most importantly, we want to hear from you! Please take a moment to visit the class notes tab to tell us about what you've been up to since leaving The Center. Also, make sure we have your current contact information listed in the Alumni Directory so we can keep you informed of Alumni events and up to date on the impressive things happening today at CEE!
I look forward to many years of shared experiences with you, both on and off campus. We welcome you to come back to campus any time you like (just be sure to check in with Bette first!) and invite you to tour the new buildings as they come to life. A new Center is upon us but the community and mission of the Center will never change.
