  • Mandarin Chinese with Chinese Language Academy @ CEE

    The Chinese Language Academy of Los Angeles comes to CEE with its immersive Class of fun and interesting activities to involve your child in speaking Chinese. Through games, arts and language challenges, students start to pick up the phrases they need to start conversing. CLA teachers are fluent Chinese speakers who have trained in techniques that keep the children listening, repeating and learning.

  • Spanish Language and Cooking with Cultural Bytes @ CEE

    Cocina Españole/Spanish Restaurant
    Language + Cooking = Fun!  
    Learn Spanish as you cook yummy Hispanic-American recipes with Cultural Bytes. Through cooking, we learn conversation, colors, numbers, and words for ingredients, cooking tools and more!  We will learn about kitchen safety, peeling, spreading, mixing, measuring in Spanish! We will cook delicious dishes and learn where they come from. Recipes will include such dishes as ceviche, tacos, tamales, posole, burritos, botanas, flan, and more sweet and savory meals. We will create a restaurant over our three-week program and invite some special guests, all in SPANISH!

Refund Policy: Notification of withdrawals or changes must be made in writing to the Summer Program Director ( For withdrawal prior to May 1, there will be a non-refundable $50 processing fee retained from your camp fee. For withdrawals between May 1 and June 1: for one-week classes; 50% of your fee will be retained and for three-week classes; $500 will be retained. No refunds will be granted after June 1, 2020.
