Katie Steinbach

Director of Advancement and External Affairs
Katie Steinbach joined The Center for Early Education in 2026 as Director of Advancement and External Affairs. Prior to joining CEE, she spent more than a decade leading advancement for Harlem Academy, a socioeconomically diverse K-8 independent school in New York City. There, she led the school’s first capital campaign to build its inaugural campus and expanded philanthropic support, enabling the school to serve twice as many students and establish an endowment. Before that, she held programmatic roles at the Institute of International Education. Katie was a Thomas Hunter Honors Scholar at Hunter College, where she majored in Political Science and Spanish, and earned a Master of Public Administration from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University.
