The Center and beyond

Beginning in the spring of fifth grade, we work with each rising sixth grade family to partner through the School Search process.
Just like everything we do at The Center, the approach is student-centric, supportive, exciting, and educational.

The Center’s School Search process for sixth grade families includes individual parent meetings, application and financial aid planning assistance, interview preparation, tours, information sessions and meetings with prospective schools, and more. The Director of Student Placement, Head of Upper Elementary, and Head of School work in tandem with families through the process.

Our graduates go on to a variety of diverse schools in the Los Angeles area and beyond, where they become involved students and active community members.

Once students graduate from The Center, they become part of the multi-generational CEE Alumni community. CEE Alumni stay involved in The Center through the Alumni Council and by sponsoring and participating in many events and fundraisers each year!
The Center for Early Education, a socio-economically and culturally diverse independent school for children, toddlers through grade six, strives to graduate students who are joyful, resilient, lifelong learners. The Center embraces a philosophy of education that combines a nurturing, inclusive learning environment with an increasingly challenging academic program that addresses the developmental needs of each child.
