Amy-Marie Rivera

Director of Early Childhood Programs
Amy-Marie comes to The Center from the Corlears School in NYC, where she worked for 20 years. During her time at Corlears, she has been a preschool through first grade teacher, a Reading Specialist/Literacy Coach, and is currently the Assistant Head of School and Director of Teaching and Learning (since 2013). Amy attended Bank Street College of Education where she received her Masters in Early Childhood Education and her Doctorate in Education in Advanced Master’s Literary specialization. Amy-Marie earned a BA in Studio Art and Comparative Religious Studies from the University of Rochester. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and sons.
