Nassim Shandy

Director of Teaching and Learning
Nassim has been working at The Center for Early Education for sixteen years. She was a classroom teacher for eleven years before segueing into her role as the Director of Teaching and Learning. Nassim holds a Master’s degree from UCLA in Educational Leadership with a specialized focus on social justice in education. Nassim is also the founder of the statewide Curriculum Coordinator Consortium and serves as planner and coordinator of CATDC’s annual Women + Leadership conference, a highly regarded and sought-after symposium. Education is near and dear to Nassim’s heart. Her mother was a Head of School in Tehran, Iran, a role not many women held at the time, before departing after the country’s revolution. Nassim’s daughter is a proud CEE student.
