Our Campus
The Center for Early Education is located on a vibrant, secure, urban campus in the heart of West Hollywood, California. Families stepping onto campus are welcomed into our warm, modern, and inclusive facility.
In Spring of 2020, we completed the last phase of a major campus transformation project. Our classrooms and community spaces reflect our educational philosophy, flexible and interconnected approach to learning, and a strong sense of joy.
Community Spaces at The Center

From PE classes and after school athletics to special events and gatherings, the Gym is a hub of campus activity. -
The Community Center hosts all kinds of performances and special events from the annual Winter Sing to Grandparents' Day! -
Come on in! The secure school entrance and reception area is warm and inviting for families and guests alike. -
The Plaza is the campus core where you will find friendly faces and (often) morning coffee for the adults! -
Parent Education, family events, Alumni and Grandparents' Council meetings and more take place in The Eisner Board Room & Terrace.
Toddler House

Our Toddler students begin in Toddler House, a learning space designed with the youngest children in mind.

Toddlers learn how to tend to their class garden plot and enjoy tasting the results!

Independent and group creative play are part of every day in Toddlers.

Children enjoy ample time outdoors playing, reading, learning and gardening!
Early Childhood 1 & 2

Snacks, lunch, celebrations, and classes regularly take place in the yard thanks to the temperate Southern California climate.

Developing fine and gross motor skills is a key component of the Early Childhood curriculum.

Respecting the inner world of the child is at the core of the Center experience.

EC 1 & 2 classrooms open out onto the yard and its vibrant activity.

Center students participate in regular music classes from their first day at CEE!

Early Childhood students love to "hang out" in the yard!
Kindergarten & Elementary

Lower Elementary classrooms feature bright colors, lots of natural light, and flexible room configurations (including a connecting wall for group learning)!

Every day is a new adventure in Kindergarten!

Elementary recess, lunch, PE, and After School programs take place on one of two rooftop play yards overlooking Greater Los Angeles.

Kindergarteners enjoy a play yard just for them that connects their two classrooms.

Small group learning is a highlight of the CEE Kindergarten experience.

Elementary students can visit the Innovation Center to work on projects or explore new ideas.

Elementary students regularly come together for special events and service projects in the Gym and Community Center.

Sixth graders experience a departmentalized curriculum, enjoying moving between classes and having their own lockers!

The Storybook Room in the Library is a favorite place for younger students to read independently or as a class.

The Upper Elementary Science Lab is an exciting place to be!

Lower Elementary scientists learn in a lab which features a Science Patio for outdoor experimenting.

K-6th Graders practice drills, sports, games, and mindfulness in PE.

Elementary music students enjoy a full music curriculum including singing and instrumental music.

The Lower Elementary Art Studio is a place for exploration, laughter, and creativity.

Upper Elementary Art students study art history while pushing the boundaries of their own artistic expression.

The Innovation Center is where ingenuity and creativity come alive at CEE, from robotics to 3D printing.

Students and parents have access to our School Counselor for support on all topics regarding mental health and wellbeing.

Elementary students explore literary genres in Library class, and specific focus is placed on children sharing books they’ve enjoyed with their peers.

Children enjoy daily outdoor recess and lunch periods on our playfields and courts.
